TRAVEL NOTES

Getting from Denver Airport to Boulder (45 minute drive time if you have your own rental car)

The Boulder SuperShuttle is located by baggage claim and is a reliable door-to-door taxi service. Click on this Link to print a discount voucher. The “companion” rate is the most economical way to go. From the airport to Boulder, it’s $25 for the first person, $10 for each additional person up to four passengers. The voucher also offers a discount to those traveling as singles, giving you $6 off a round trip.

Getting around Boulder
Boulder has an excellent, clean, safe public transportation system. The buses are a joy to ride and the area is so small, its fairly easy to get around.

If you plan to stay awhile, there are various car rental places that you can book ahead of time online or at the airport at time of arrival.

Directions from Denver International to Boulder
From the airport, follow Pena Blvd (10 miles) south to I-70, and exit onto I-70 west. Follow I-70 west to I-270 west. I-270 merges into U.S. 36 west and takes you west into Boulder (about 23 miles.)

Denver International Airport filght status updated every 10 minutes.

from the Courtyard Marriott: The Courtyard uses Yellow Cab taxi service 303-777-7777.  Our front desk can call for service.  Also Monday through Friday they can take the 206 bus that will pick them up just across the hotel on Pearl and it will drop them off right downtown.  The front desk has the bus schedule.

They can also rent a car once they get to Boulder.  Enterprise will come pick them up!  I recommend the Boulder Super Shuttle to get back and forth from the airport.
